A short list of things that stroke me this weekend
- The New Yorker cover for Mother’s day. Because it is true that an image is worth a thousand words. Probably much more!
- A Wikipedia page on the Italian Diaspora, which can be used to reflect on the quotation of Enrico Letta at the General Assembly of the Democratic Party. By the way, that quotation reflects the spirit of the time but it is probably bogus (from cicap.org In Italian).
- This description of Darwin’s daily routine (how things have changed! Everything is faster now, still Darwin’s achievements are unbeatable)
- The splendid, passionate, TED talk by Lawrence Lessig on corruption in American politics (exercise: now apply to Italy). Lessig is my (unsurpassable) model for public speaking. Have a look below!
